The History of

Verity Conference

Verity Conference began in the back room of a seminary. There was a folding table covered in water bottles and granola bars, a short worship set, and a tiny stage. What started as a simple meet-up for women who love theology blossomed year after year into Verity Conference: a two-day teaching event equipping Christians to know what they believe and communicate it graciously. From that day in the seminary to now, our mission remains evangelism and discipleship. We know we can’t do this alone! We are here to equip men and women to know Christian theology, but not just know it. We want you to experience the presence of Christ through His truth and communicate that truth to your world. We do this through theologically rich sessions, leader trainings, and equipping for hospitality.

Verity is not an emotional high. It’s not about hype (though we are hyped to see you!) Verity is a teaching conference. Our goal is to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Whether you are on site with us in Petoskey, Michigan, or hosting one of our home groups and satellite church locations, you are a valued part of the Every Woman a Theologian community and are vital to the mission of teaching the gospel to all nations. We can’t wait to see you in 2024!
